Hardware Implementation of Services including Installation/De-installation, staging de-installed equipment and submission of deliverables as required by customer DGBS laid out detailed scheduling and project planning for simultaneous implementations across regions for corporate and franchise sites.
Overall scope included:
  • Confirmation of security equipment is working if applicable.
  • Asses cabling conformance to standards as in established cabling diagram
  • Validate functionality of the old system by running the Health Check Applications
  • Inspect for any physical damages to new assets on site
  • Shuts down existing system, replace the relevant peripherals including switch, modems & other peripherals, cables and connectivity to all related devices as outlined
  • Upgrade checklist included:
    • Disconnect and removal of Master Drive from old PC.
    • New PC install, disconnect slave drive from new PC and connect the old Master drive
    • Complete data transfer and installation of the rest of the system.
    • Run Health Check Application in the new system
    • Report Failures
  • Test functionality of the system and all devices attached to the system. Notify the Help Desk of any failures and tag with Remedy Closure Case number.
  • Sign off on Installation Quality Report including notating physical damage
  • Staging of De-Install of old equipment
